Poh Lin has more than 20 years of comprehensive marketing and communications experience across multiple industries. She has a track record of generating consensus among stakeholders, attracting and retaining customers, developing brand assets that resonate, project management, and evaluating processes and systems to remove barriers to realize the fullest potential for productivity.
From thirty years’ experience in public higher education administration and government relations, Thomas Cook brings to Khoo Consulting extensive experience in equitable approaches to community engagement, policy analysis, applied research, developing effective communications, navigating state and municipal government, and press relations.
From her Nutrition Extension Educator role at the University of Minnesota Extension and her Peace Corps volunteer experience as a Community Health Educator in Belize, Chelsea Williams brings a holistic approach to engage the community in dialogue especially around the relationships between culture, nutrition, healing, and well-being.
Jana has been Principal and Creative Director at Mod & Company and led a team of designers for 20 years. Her strong conceptual experience with her abilities to direct and implement creative assets have contributed to the success of many clients. Jana also brings extensive multicultural design experience that reflects and resonates with diverse audiences.
Jackson’s background includes more than 5 years of experience in marketing, journalism, and digital communications. He has worked with clients to deliver effective communication strategies and outcomes, developing skills in copywriting, editing, email marketing, community engagement, social media management, and public relations.
Candy is an experienced strategic marketing data analytics and interpretation expert. She brings more than 20 years of experience related to strategic marketing, data analytics, management consulting, project management, solutions planning, business process improvement design and implementation, competitive analysis, facilitation and planning, budgeting and forecasting as well as technical systems and control. She has worked in consulting roles at all levels of government.
Dr. Pauline Danforth is a skilled writer, researcher and lecturer who writes about and is deeply connected to the urban Indian community in Minnesota. She has broad-based experiences in higher education and currently teaches and advises at Metropolitan State University. She earned her Ph.D. in American Studies from the University of Minnesota. She is an enrolled member of the White Earth Nation.
Sieng is a first-generation Hmong American refugee. He is a graphic designer, visual artist, and community organizer. His recent achievements include being named a recipient of the Jerome Emerging Artist Fellowship; designing and developing the We Are Hmong/Peb Yog Hmoob Minnesota exhibit at the Minnesota History Center; recipient of the Cultural Community Partnership Grant from the MN States Art Board to design public art for Hmongtown Marketplace. His passion lies at the intersections of our multicultural society, helping to bridge the many inequities and misunderstandings. He believes that there is more to being an artist and designer beyond creating artifacts.
